Reporting directly to the Senior Director- Information Technology the IT Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity of computer  workstations  and associated software. This includes diagnosing computer problems, installing software, and performing tests  on  equipment  and   commercials   programs.   The   technician   will   also   be   responsible   for   setting   up   and   performing  maintenance   on equipment. The IT Technician will work in collaboration with the network administrator to maintain servers and infrastructure (switches, firewalls, wireless and cabling)


  • Provide courteous and efficient IT support to users
  • Work tickets from the portal and phone track
  • Partner with vendors to monitor and assist with projects and interventions
  • Ensure proper functioning of computers, mobile devices, telephones, and other technical equipment
  • Install, ship, and remove computer equipment
  • Maintain and repair ethernet network
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and computer supplies
  • Ensure parts room is sufficiently stocked and organized
  • Reception of computer hardware
  • Accurate and updated documentation of equipment and software, procedures, and technical methods
  • Administration of telephone system
  • Work with leadership and development teams within projects and interventions
  • Work with Network Administrator to assist with servers, switches and wireless
  • Responsible for the IT procedure of new and departing employees
  • On call evenings and weekends as needed




  • 5+ years in a support environment. Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Experience managing a ticketing system
  • Experience with organizing and customizing
  • Active Directory Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees
  • A+/N+ Certification MCP/MCSE Certification
  • Cat5e/Cat6 experience preferred
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Strong physical endurance; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and consistently changing environment
  • Ability to effectively understand and follow a variety of guidelines and work procedures (including health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and effective communication with peers, supervisors, and leadership
