SUMMARY OF THE FONCTION

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Sales - National Brand, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring profitable sales development by training and supporting a team of 4 Ontario merchandisers. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee a territory of stores and manage some regional accounts.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Coaching Role:
    • Supervise and train merchandisers to develop a sales culture and the necessary skills for optimizing their territory.
    • Lead daily team activities with effective and inclusive leadership.
    • Implement tools to optimize execution and sales in each territory.
    • Assist merchandisers in building and maintaining good relationships with key store personnel.
    • Evaluate and supervise merchandiser performance during workwith sessions, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Manage and control the budget assigned for the Ontario region (e.g., salary, car allowances, expenses).
    • Ensure timely follow-up on requested administrative tasks (e.g., reports, expense tracking, timesheets).
  • Sales Representative and Account Management Role:
    • Identify opportunities for profitable sales growth in territories and regional accounts.
    • Develop and implement business plans for regional accounts, aligning with brand strategies and managing budgeted trade spend objectives.
    • Cultivate strong relationships based on trust and provide excellent customer service.
    • Conduct timely follow-up on administrative tasks (e.g., surveys, claims, required reports).
    • Support the Senior Sales Director in specific projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a combination of relevant diploma and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in representation.
  • At least 1 year of experience in supervision and/or account management (an asset).
  • Ability to align with the culture and values of Biscuits Leclerc.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence (EI) skills to engage team members effectively.
  • Adaptability to understand emotions, anticipate reactions, changing information and deal with them to evolve one's team.
  • Effective communication, persuasion, and influence skills.
  • Ability to foster trust and create a positive work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel for workwiths and meetings.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Access to a reliable internet network (WIFI).
  • Valid driver's license.
